Governance

TanenbaumCHAT is governed by a Board of Directors, appointed in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of TanenbaumCHAT ("By-law Number 10"), adopted by the Board of Directors and the TanenbaumCHAT Corporation in August 2004. Each year, the Board invites nominations from parents for vacancies on the Board and its sub-committees. Faculty, students, and alumni are also represented on the Board, as are a number of Life Members. The Board issues an Annual Report to parents and friends of the school. An Executive Committee is drawn from Board membership, and sub-committees of the Board include Budget & Finance, Education, Development, Personnel, Tuition, Health & Safety, Building, and other committees struck for specific purposes.

The school's operations are directed by the professional Administration of the school, headed by the Director of Education.
